A Quiet Peaceful Location On An Exclusive Complex

During the last decades, Mijas Golf has become one of the most popular golf complexes in Europe, known for the outstanding condition of their courses and the friendly atmosphere and excellent service provided to the clients.

The two courses on Mijas Golf, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, are situated in the valley of Mijas, only ten minutes north of Fuengirola, only thirty minutes from Málaga International Airport, and about the same distance from Marbella and Puerto Banus.

The location is pure heaven as a five minute walk takes you to the clubhouse, driving range and terrace bar. From this year Mijas Golf has changed to a day rate fee for golf so you pay one green fee and you can play a second round on the same day. Also with Early Bird and Twilight offers your golf becomes great value.

On the Mijas Golf urbanisation there are a couple of restaurants, a small convenience store, a golf shop where you will find a large range of clothing and footwear for sale, golf clubs for sale or hire, and other essential golfing items that you may have forgotten to pack.

Within a few minutes drive there are four more restaurants, three bars and two small supermarkets which are open seven days a week for your convenience.

Many visitors with non-golfing families opt for an early start, with the course opening at 7.30AM in the summer, so that they can be back at the club restaurant or their apartment by lunchtime to spend the rest of the day with their family. This keeps everyone happy (except for the avid golfer who would happily spend the whole day on the course!)

Mijas Golf is also centrally placed to access almost forty other golf courses within an easy hours drive, you surely can't get much closer to golf heaven!

Modern Apartments In A Peaceful Setting

For non-golfing visitors there are hundreds of other delights within close proximity.

The largest shopping centre near by, El Corte Inglés, was opened in 2006 and provides five floors of quality shopping for all the family. With an extensive food supermarket catering for all tastes and dozens of clothing, jewellery, cosmetics, perfumes, electrical, household and golfing sections there is no excuse not to enjoy a visit!

Also opened within the past few years is the Myramar Centre. This complex boasts a multi-cinema, with many films in English, a large supermarket, a wide range of designer label shops, cafes, bars, and even a couple of International fast food restaurants for the kids!

And if you really can't do without your favourite foods, or you are concerned about the costs of eating out every night, there is an Iceland store only a five minute drive away. All the usual Iceland range at very competitive prices.

The famous mediterranean shoreline and golden beaches are a short drive away, perfect for those lazy days relaxing in the sun. Along the seafront you will find numerous chiringuitos serving traditional spanish meals, I really cannot think of a better way to while away a couple of hours at lunch time!

The beaches at Fuengirola, which is only a ten minute drive from the apartments, are immensely popular with locals and visitors alike. All of the seven beaches in the Fuengirola area are of European Blue Flag standard and between them have achieved twenty one Blue Flag awards this year.
